Shevie Jean Brim Quarles, a beloved member of the Millcreek community, passed on November 21, 2024, she was 83. She was born on Christmas in 1940, to the union of Roy and Susie Lee Hogan Brim.

She dedicated her life to serving others and spreading joy wherever she went. She worked with the facilities personnel at the Clark County Courthouse until she retired. Her work ethic and commitment to her community were truly unparalleled.

In her free time, Shevie found joy in singing, sewing, and cooking, skills she shared generously with family and friends. Her home was always a place of warmth and hospitality, where she welcomed all who crossed her threshold with open arms and a ready smile. She loved crossword puzzles and studying the Bible, deepening her spiritual connection and serving as a pillar of strength in her church, where she proudly served as a church mother at Manchester COGIC.

Shevie's spirit of generosity knew no bounds, as she selflessly gave of herself without hesitation to those in need. Her kindness, humility, and unwavering faith have left a loving impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
